    Evergreen Virginia talent interest

Do substantive litigation work. Keep your independence.

Grow with a forward-thinking firm. The Alden Kinsley Litigation Network connects experienced Virginia litigators with a path to future engagement-based opportunities, deeper collaboration, and potentially greater responsibility as client needs evolve.

The future of law, built together

    Excellent counsel deserves excellent tools.

We invest in technology and continually evaluate the latest tools to help counsel work effectively and clients receive thoughtful, responsive service. Innovation has a practical purpose here: better resources for research, preparation, collaboration, and the work that moves a matter forward.

Technology supports professional judgment; it does not replace it. We welcome experienced Virginia litigators who share that outlook and want to grow with us, contribute ideas, and help improve how legal work gets done. As the firm and its client needs evolve, a first engagement may lead to a continuing relationship and greater responsibility.

A submission is an expression of interest, not an application for one of the two current openings. If a potential fit emerges, we will discuss the matter, scope, availability, and terms directly before any work begins.

    What we evaluate

    • Analytical rigor and critical thinking
    • Experienced negotiation and dispute-resolution strategy
    • Client relationships built on listening, trust, and clear communication
    • Leadership that helps clients navigate choices, risk, and uncertainty
    • Commitment to the client’s objectives, not conflict for its own sake
    • Virginia availability when a matter requires it
    Set expectations clearly

A first engagement can be the start, not the limit.

Excellent work and a strong mutual fit may lead to repeat engagements and a continuing professional relationship. We discuss each opportunity directly, including scope, availability, compensation, and terms before work begins. Network interest itself does not create employment, membership, affiliation, a partner track, or guaranteed work or compensation. A positive internal review means consideration for follow-up, not admission to the firm.

We will only contact you about future opportunities if you give the explicit consent below. You may withdraw that consent, or request access, correction, or deletion of your information, at any time by emailing privacy@aldenkinsley.com. See our Privacy Policy for details.

    Looking beyond the next engagement

Interested in leading a practice, not just handling a matter?

We welcome conversations with experienced dispute-resolution and litigation lawyers who want to build lasting client relationships, lead a team, and help shape a client-centered practice. You can express interest in future practice leadership or explore whether local practice ownership might eventually be a mutual fit.

We look for more than technical ability: sound commercial judgment, sophisticated negotiation, thoughtful strategy, and the ability to understand what success means to each client. Leadership means explaining options and tradeoffs, setting realistic expectations, and helping clients make informed decisions.

This is an exploratory expression of interest, not an available equity offer or a partner track. No ownership structure, investment requirement, economics, or admission terms are being offered here. Any future opportunity would require separately defined terms, mutual evaluation, and applicable legal and professional review. Local practice ownership would not, by itself, mean ownership in the broader firm.
